MOPTIL participated in the Thessaloniki International Fair (TIF) 2024 and showcased its Augmented, Virtual & Mixed Reality (AR/VR/XR) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications developed for cultural spaces.
MOPTIL, a pioneering company in augmented reality technologies and digital applications for tourism and culture, successfully participated in the Thessaloniki International Fair (TIF) 2024, drawing attention from both professionals and the general public. The company was hosted at the booth of Elevate Greece, the Greek Startup Registry, as part of the Ministry of Development’s participation.
During the exhibition, MOPTIL presented its latest innovations in digital applications, featuring AI, AR, VR, and XR technologies aimed at enhancing user experiences across various sectors such as tourism, cultural heritage, and education. The company’s presentation attracted visitors from a range of fields, including representatives from public organizations such as Elevate Greece and the General Secretariat for Research and Technology, as well as the business, technology, and tourism sectors.
Specifically, MOPTIL showcased the VR application DIGIPAST, which has been successfully available in the Greek tourism market for 11 iconic archaeological sites and already has 500,000 users. Additionally, they presented a groundbreaking pilot experience using Meta’s XR technology glasses, QUEST 3, bringing to life in an immersive and interactive 3D environment the Temple of Apollo in Naxos and the Parthenon of the Acropolis in Athens.
